Product Questions

Q: Who can use the Fitness Arch?
A: The Fitness Arch can be used by individuals of any fitness level, but is specially designed to provide a safe and comprehensive exercise solution for seniors and physical rehabilitation patients.

Q: What can the Fitness Arch do?
A: The Fitness Arch provides total body strength, cardiovascular health, flexibility and balance training in both seated and standing positions. It is the only machine of its kind that accommodates any type of chair, wheelchair, scooter or fitness ball. It also eliminates the need for manual transfers.

Q: Why is the Fitness Arch better than traditional fitness equipment?
A: Traditional fitness equipment is not designed for use by seniors or physical therapy patients. The Fitness Arch is superior in that it reduces the risk of falls while improving balance and strengthening the body. Therapist-tested and doctor-approved, the Fitness Arch is specifically designed to be safe, accessible and comprehensive.

Q: Where can I find the Fitness Arch?
A: Currently, the Fitness Arch is available for direct purchase from Golden Wellness. Click on our Where to Buy page to reach a Golden Wellness sales representative.

Q: How can using the Fitness Arch help to reduce falls for seniors?
A: The Fitness Arch accommodates any type of chair, wheelchair, scooter or fitness ball, and provides a complete fitness solution. Seniors feel safe and confident while exercising and are thus more likely to participate in regular exercise. The resulting fitness gained decreases their risk of falling.

Q: What sizes of scooters and wheelchairs is the Fitness Arch designed to fit?
A: The Fitness Arch accommodates most scooters on the market, and wheelchairs with up to 28-inch seats.

Q: Is the Fitness Arch portable?
A: The Fitness Arch folds in seconds to a 27 x 50-inch footprint, and can be easily moved by tipping it onto its two wheels in the back or its two wheels on the side. This is especially important for facilities that have limited space available for fitness and rehabilitation programs. Given its weight of 200 pounds, we recommend for safety that moving be handled by two strong individuals.

Q: What are the dimensions of the Fitness Arch?
A: When in the open position, the Fitness Arch is 55 inches long (front to back), 50 inches wide and 85 inches tall. When in the closed position for storage and moving, the Fitness Arch measures 27 inches long (front to back), 50 inches wide and 40 inches tall.

Q: How much does the Fitness Arch weigh?
A: Primarily constructed of powder-coated steel, the Fitness Arch weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Q: Is it difficult to learn how to use the Fitness Arch?
A: No, using the Fitness Arch is easy and intuitive. We do recommend, however, that therapists, personal trainers and activity directors supervise users of the Fitness Arch during exercise activity.

Q: Can the Fitness Arch be used in group classes as well as in one-on-one training?
A: Yes, up to four individuals can use the Fitness Arch at once. While only one person can be seated within the unit at a time, the side-mounted exercise bands can easily be used by individuals standing or sitting adjacent to the unit.

Q: What training support is available for the Fitness Arch?
A: We are dedicated to empowering our clients with resources that help improve patient outcomes. We provide in-depth educational and training materials, as well as tools that help promote the use of the Fitness Arch.

Q: Why should I buy a Fitness Arch instead of a less expensive exercise machine?
